About me

Just L I V I N

Living in a suburb of Dallas with my husband, I’m officially embracing the empty nester life — which mostly means fewer grocery bills and arguing over what to watch on TV instead of where the kids disappeared to.
I’m a book lover, travel dreamer, craft hoarder (yes, there is a difference), and professional overthinker with a collection of autoimmune diseases that seem to collect friends faster than I collect throw pillows. Between doctor appointments, mystery symptoms, and trying to remember why I walked into a room, I’ve learned that humor is sometimes the best medicine… right after actual medicine.
This blog is where I share the ups, downs, flares, frustrations, and funny moments that come with navigating autoimmune life while still trying to enjoy the things I love. You’ll find bits of real life, reading recommendations, travel adventures, crafts I probably started before finishing the last one, and reminders that even on hard days, life can still be meaningful — and occasionally hilarious.
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. We’re all just doing our best out here… preferably with snacks and a heating pad nearby.
